Raymond J F Trainer was born Glasgow in 1964. Through a national

schools competition and at aged 12 his clay sculpture piece "Stand and

Deliver" was selected to be exibited at the Junior Royal Academy in 1976.

After gaining a higher and Sixth Year Study in art at school he pursued

his creativity with his musical ambitions playing with various rock bands in

Glasgow clubs.  After 15 years runnng a business Raymond returned to

his art studies at Glasgow School of Art studying Portraiture and Human

Form. He has had work commissioned since 2003 and exhibits paintings

regularly.
